Inspiration - Sculptor, Bruce Larson

This is an artist whose work you see quite frequently if you live in or around Fairhope. I've seen it so many times now that I don't appreciate it as much most days, but, when I first looked at his work, I was pleasantly surprised at his use of old, thrown away mechanical parts from diverse sources and that's always something that has stayed with me. The ways he uses them is unexpected and yet they all fit and have a purpose to the piece. It gives us a totally new perspective on the parts than what we expect.
